Description
The BRITA Purity C Steam is a filter specially designed to meet the requirements of small and medium-sized combi steamers for optimal water treatment in kitchens and baking tubs. The carbonate hardness present in the water is reduced which prevents limescale deposits. This results in fewer machine failures meaning that service and repair costs are saved.

The tried and tested BRITA filter technology decarbonizes the water in four steps:
1 Pre-filtration
A pre-filter holds back coarse particles.
2 Reduction of carbonate hardness
The filter medium reduces the carbonate hardness and thus prevents limescale formation.
3 Activated carbon filtration
The water flows through an activated carbon filter in order to reduce substances that impair taste and aroma.
4 Fine filtration
Finally, a fleece holds back any remaining fine particles.

The unique IntelliBypass technology stands for a constant proportion of blended water that is independent of the volume flow. This ensures consistently high water quality, even with low water throughput.
